Two more couples will get engaged (with another on the horizon); some unexpected news will await Elani; a major character will return (and one says goodbye); and the good guys will battle Orpheus! 14. Orpheus Crosses The Line

It’s divide and conquer as DOOL spoilers indicate that Marlena and Steve will try and save John this coming week. They will meet up with Orpheus while Rafe and Hope will be on the hunt for little David. With that said, something goes terribly wrong as the days go by.

According to Days spoilers, there will be a snag in our heroes’ plan at the beginning of the week. While they were poised to take down Orpheus and save both John and David, it seems as if Orpheus will have other plans. In fact, he’ll not only shoot Rafe during rescue efforts, but Orpheus will also unload a massive bombshell onto John.

11. Two Proposals … And Another On The Way?!

In other news, it seems as if Ben and Ciara won’t be the only two DOOLers to be tying the knot soon, as two more couples get engaged this week. Eric will finally get down on one knee and pop the question to Nicole, while Eli will do the same with Lani. Seems as if both ladies will say yes! But the good wedding news doesn’t stop there, as Justin has marriage on the brain too.

10. Justin Asks For Permission

DOOL spoilers indicate that Justin will head to Adrienne’s gravesite this week, and ask her permission to propose to Kayla. In fact, he and Sonny will have a conversation around this, and it seems as if Sonny gives his “okay” around his dad’s intentions. So, will it be a happily ever after for Kayla and Justin? Not quite … as Steve will realize this week that he wants to be with his Sweetness. Seems as if Johnson will gear up to tell Kayla how he feels, but can he do this before Justin pops the question?

9. A Baby Blessing

Getting back to Elani spoilers, this week will clearly be a big one for the super couple. Not only will they get engaged, but they will also find out that they are expecting! While this is good news, teasers for the week of June 1st reveal that Lani will start to have mixed emotions about the baby, and carry some fear. After all, she went through a very traumatic ordeal the last time around, and might be a bit scared and overwhelmed by the news.

Across town, DOOL spoilers suggest that Brady will be confronted by Xander. While he may be angry, he’ll feel the burn that much more, as teasers state that Sarah will be with Brady, and the twosome will continue to twist the proverbial knife. With that said, Xander is not one to give up, and he’ll vow to win back Sarah’s affections, but fans know that this will be an uphill battle for him. In other related news, John gives Victor a piece of his mind about the baby switch incident. He won’t be pleased around Kiriakis’ role in the entire thing, and how much Brady was hurt by it all.

7. Goodbye Abigail

Fans need to gear up for a tearful goodbye this week, as Abigail heads to a treatment facility in Florida, and actress Kate Mansi exits from Days. Seems as if Chad will escort Abigail to the center, but return to Salem in a little bit — alone. In other DOOL teasers, a distressed Jack will rip into Gabi, as she continues to profess her innocence.

6. A New Cute Face On The Salem Scene

Speaking of the DiMeras, young actor Cary Christopher will be taking over the role of Thomas, offspring to Chabby, sometime this week. Perhaps he’ll show up during a scene where Abigail says goodbye to her family. Here’s hoping mom gets better soon, so she can return to her little ones. The very idea of a mom leaving her kids behind is heartbreaking.

Speaking of Hernandez, things will continue to get complicated between Gabi and Jake in the coming weeks. In the next few days, DOOL spoilers indicate that Jake will claim he wants nothing to do with Gabi; however, will his actions match his words? Fans will have to wait and see! In other Days teasers for the week of June 1st, Jake will come clean to Ben about something, and then as the days go by, he’ll also tell Cin that Gabi has been kidnapped!

Rewinding a bit, it seems as if Jake’s past will catch up with him in the coming weeks, and as per DOOL spoilers, this will cause some issues for Ben. The week of May 25th will see Ciara helping her fiancé out of a dire situation, and as the days go by, Jake will come “clean” to him about something.

Major character return, as DOOL spoilers state that actress Olivia Rose Keegan will reprise her Claire Brady role on Wednesday, June 3rd. Seems as if parents Shawn and Belle will also come back to the land of Salem to help spring their daughter out of Bayview, as Claire will be granted early release from the facility. With that said, she’ll also get the assist from her grandmother, and Claire will beg Marlena to help her with these efforts. Seems like Evans will, when all is said and done.

While he may still be recovering from his gunshot wound, by the time the week of June 1st rolls around, Rafe will also be gearing up to battle Zoey for custody of David. According to DOOL spoilers, Hope will go to bat for her ex, and do what she can to help him out with his custody efforts.

For the week of June 1st, DOOL spoilers indicate that Sarah and Brady will still have revenge on their mind, but they’ll run into some resistance along the way. Meanwhile, Steve will get intoxicated and feel the need to finally tell Kayla how he feels.
