10 Things You Didn’t Know About JoJo Fletcher And Jordan Rodgers’ Relationship

Jordan Rodgers and JoJo Fletcher are one of the few couples from ABC’s popular reality series The Bachelorette who’ve actually made it off the show and managed to stay together! Their relationship hasn’t been easy as they’ve suffered through their fair share of tabloid drama, but that seems to all be behind them now and they recently celebrated their one year anniversary! Here’s a look at 10 things you probably didn’t know about their relationship!

10. Jordan Moved to Dallas

After their season wrapped up and the two could finally go public, Jordan Rodgers and JoJo bought a house together in her hometown of Dallas, Texas, where they’ve been living ever since. “When we were apart, I remember thinking: ‘This would be so much better if we were together. As soon as it ended I was like: ‘Let’s pack up, let’s move in!’ It was the best thing that could have happened for our relationship,” said JoJo in an interview with People.

9. They are Rock Solid

Unlike most couples that emerge from the popular reality show, Jordan and JoJo seem to be rock solid and a lot of it has to do with the fact that they are both supportive of each other. “We’ve found this good balance…We are both so supportive of one another, and I think that’s the best part about our relationship. We trust each other, so it’s not like anything would ever worry us…I’m so proud of him and what he’s doing, and he’s proud of me,” she said in an interview with AOL.

8. Taking Their Time to the Altar

After getting engaged last year, Jordan and JoJo had expressed a desire to get married in 2017, but they’ve since admitted that was probably an unrealistic time frame. “We were so hyped up, and now that we’ve settled, we’re like: ‘This isn’t something to rush into.’ We’re really enjoying our time together. We met one year ago! We’re still getting to know each other. I’m enjoying being a fiancee and having him still court me for a while,” she told People.

7. He Likes to Surprise Her

There’s usually one person in a relationship that’s more romantic than the other, and in their case it’s surprisingly Jordan! JoJo told People he constantly does things to surprise her. “You don’t know when it’s coming, you know? Like he’ll post a photo, I won’t even know, and he’ll write something so sweet. I’m like, ‘God, that was amazing,'” she said. “It’s so funny how this whole thing has evolved. When I was on the show, I felt like I was the one — I was really trying to be romantic about a lot of situations. He was then, but he’s so much more romantic now!”

6. Bachelor Babies?

JoJo has made it clear she wants to get married before she starts having kids with Jordan, but she’s definitely starting to think about it! “I want kids. I can’t wait to have a family, but in the right time. I obviously want to get married first and then have a certain amount of time where I can just enjoy being married. But say I got pregnant tomorrow, I would still be super excited! That’s not my plan, but I love kids and I can’t wait to have a family,” she said to People.

5. JoJo Hasn’t Met Jordan’s Brother

During the After the Final Rose, JoJo revealed she hadn’t met Jordan’s brother Aaron Rodgers, who’s the quarterback for the Green Bay Packers since they got engaged. “It’s the same situation that it’s been, but it’s not the focus for us right now, it’s about us,” she said. Regardless of this, they’ve spent lots of time with each other’s families and future in-laws. Last winter they went on a family vacation to Chattanooga, Tennessee, with Jordan’s parents and his brother, Luke, and traveled to New Orleans with JoJo’s family for her mother’s birthday in early 2017. They even have get together with both of their families!

4. Backlash They Received During the Show

The newly engaged couple suffered terrible backlash during their time on the show, especially after she chose him in the season finale. On the night of the premiere, Jordan’s ex-girlfriend came forward to accuse Jordan of being a cheater and a liar. He was also accused of using the show to get ahead in his career. JoJo said there were many nights where she cried herself to sleep and it was especially hard when they couldn’t publicly defend one another in the press. “I think the hardest part for me is just having people say, ‘Oh he doesn’t really love you, this is for the show.’ That hurts me,” she said. So far, Jordan and JoJo have proved all the naysayers wrong as they’re still engaged and going strong!

3. Televised Nuptials

Aside from when they’re getting married, many people are curious about whether or not their big day will be televised for us all to see! It seems just like the date, these two are undecided on what they’ll do, but they haven’t written it off entirely. “I think it would just have to make sense for us. It’s like the biggest day in any girl’s life, so you don’t want to sacrifice it for anything,” she said.

2. Learning to Survive the Rumors

Being in the public eye has many advantages, but public scrutiny is definitely a downside, especially for a relationship. “If we don’t post a picture together for three days, we’ve suddenly broken up,” said Jordan in an interview with People. JoJo admitted she’s worse at handling it than Jordan is. “For a while, we did pretty good at not caring about all the negative comments when they were really bad and when it was crazy. Now, it is a little stressful…Jordan is so much better at not getting fazed. I’ve learned how to handle things much better with him. It’s annoying to read that we’re broken up every day or that we’re faking our relationship. It’s bizarre.”

Ever since these two got engaged over a year ago they’ve been on many romantic trips together! Throughout their seemingly short, but serious relationship they’ve been snowboarding in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, and vacationed in the British Virgin Islands and Playa del Carmen, Mexico, and visited New Orleans (where they celebrated JoJo’s mother’s birthday), and Georgia with Jordan’s family.
