14. Dick Donato – Big Brother

Big Brother has seen a lot of conniving and manipulating contestants over its many seasons, but one of the worst without a doubt has been Dick Donato, who was the winner of Big Brother 8. He had the nickname “Evel Dick” before his appearance on the series, but it definitely rang true as the season went on and he became involved in the now infamous feud with his housemate Jen. While they both pushed each other’s buttons, when it came to a fight over cigarettes, things went much too far. After a lengthy back and forth between the two, Jen lunged forward and tried to take a cigarette from Dovato’s hands and he responded by burning her with the cigarette, and then continuing to do it multiple times. Getting in a fight is nothing new on the show, but physically burning someone and purposely doing it again and again is assault, and he didn’t even get kicked off!

13. Puck Rainey – The Real World: San Francisco

No reality villain list would be complete without one of the original Real World villains, which is why we have David ‘Puck’ Rainey, who appeared on the show’s third season for The Real World: San Francisco. From the beginning everything he did rubbed his housemates the wrong way including some very rude and unhygienic instances, but worst of all he continually mocked and made fun of his gay housemate Pedro Zamora. Even after the roommates came together and evicted him from the house, Puck continued to harass them, and things did not get any better when he appeared on the Real World/Rules Challenge: Battle of the Sexes where he spit in the face of fellow contestant David Edwards. Over 20 years later, and Puck still remains one of the worst villains of all.

12. James Kennedy – Vanderpump Rules

For some time Jax Taylor was pinpointed as the villain on Vanderpump Rules, but during the last few seasons, it has increasingly become James Kennedy, whose immaturity and inflated ego has made him unlikable and unbearable. Instead of actually listening to anyone if they have an issue, Kennedy insists that everyone is just jealous of him because he is so young and “hot.” What he doesn’t realize is that his behavior has now not only lost him many of his friends, but also his jobs, and we can’t forget how horribly he treated Kristen Doute and openly bragged about cheating on her.

11. Jonny Dalton – Survivor

Much like Big Brother, being a jerk and being ruthless are somewhat part of the game to Survivor, but that doesn’t mean some players haven’t stood out for going over the top with their evil ways. Wanting to win is one thing, but Jonny “Fairplay” Dalton took it one step further and became one of the most talked about contestants ever when he elicited sympathy votes by telling the other players his grandmother had died. He staged a whole ruse, which included a friend coming to the island, only for his grandmother to be alive and well the entire time. Jonny ended up placing third, but it seems his antics continued off-screen as he is reportedly banned from attending any event that Survivor host Jeff Probst is at because Jonny allegedly got into a brawl with Probst’s brother at a party.

10.  Scott Disick – Keeping Up With the Kardashians

There are a lot of reasons not to like Scott Disick, but his attitude and personality on Keeping Up With the Kardashians and all of its spin-offs has made him one of the most hated people on reality TV ever. At first he was just unlikeable, but as time has gone on he has done so many things that make him downright despicable — it is no wonder so many hate him. Some of his worst moments have been refusing to give up his party-boy ways to actually step up for his family, and when he was less than enthused when Kourtney told him she was pregnant with their third child. On top of that he is known for actually shoving money down a waiter’s throat, and of course the huge cheating scandal that broke up his family back in 2015.

9. Juan Pablo – The Bachelor

Over the many seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, there has usually been someone on each season who stands out as “the villain,” but it is very rare for that person to be the Bachelor himself. At first Juan Pablo seemed like the perfect choice for the role after being eliminated by Desiree Hartsock in her season of The Bachelorette, but it took no time at all for viewers to realize Juan Pablo was nothing but a creepy and sleazy womanizer. Aside from disgusting the audience, as well as some of his contestants, he is known for openly rejecting the idea of a gay bachelor, stating, “I don’t think it is a good example for kids to watch that on TV,” adding that gay people are “more pervert in a sense.” ABC then had to release a statement and Juan Pablo apologized, citing his lack of fluency in English that led to the misuse of the word “pervert.”

8. Brandi Glanville – Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Drama is most certainly the name of the game when it comes to the Real Housewives, but absolutely no one from her fellow cast members to the viewers could stand Brandi Glanville’s constant attacks and need to start fights. From 2009 to 2015 Glanville fought with just about anyone on the show about anything and it didn’t take long for everyone to become tired of her and her dramatic ways. Glanville was also known for constantly talking about her ex-husband Eddie Cibrian’s affair with LeAnn Rimes.

7. Adam Lind – Teen Mom 2

For Teen Mom 2 fans, they have had pretty much enough of Chelsea Houska’s ex and Aubree’s father Adam Lind. From their 16 and Pregnant episode where he called Aubree a “mistake” to seven years later, there has been little improvement in his attitude, and when he threatened to quit at the latest reunion show, everyone said “good riddance.” While he no longer regards Aubree as a mistake, he has done little to be the father he could be and had a major problem with leaving Aubree with his parents instead of actually spending time with her on his weekends. Lind is also known for his many serious car accidents and for always threatening to take Chelsea to court over Aubree even though he has nothing to back him up. Now, he just likes to be dramatic and say it is others not treating him fairly, instead of just stepping up.

6. Nia Moore – The Real World

It truly seems the whole point of the Real World is to throw many people with conflicting personalities in a house just to see drama unfold, and because of this, almost every season has had that one person who basically everyone couldn’t stand. While this may be true, nothing compares to The Real World: Portland‘s Nia Moore. Now known as “Hurricane Nia” she had a superiority complex like never before and not only antagonized the other house members but got in more than one violent and physical fight. She constantly threatened to have the others beaten up by people she knew, and worst of all did not get evicted after her assaults on the others. Moore then returned to MTV on The Challenge, and continued her unbelievable behavior until she once again assaulted her former Real World house mate Jordan Wiseley and that time got kicked off the show.

5. Courtney Robertson – The Bachelor

Courtney Robertson to many is the female version of The Bachelorette‘s most notorious villain, Chad Johnson. Robertson appeared on the 16th season of The Bachelor where she made herself hated not only for her attitude but for actually winning Ben Flajnik’s heart! During her time on the show she left fellow contestants and viewers shocked with her actions which included threatening others, and openly talking about just wanting to win while very clearly not really caring about Ben at all. She was hated so much by viewers that on the reunion she was loudly booed when she was introduced. Then of course there was her very public cheating scandal and the fact she capitalized off of it all with her tell-all book “I Didn’t Come Here to Make Friends: Confessions of a Reality Show Villain.”

4. Danielle Staub – Real Housewives of New Jersey

Quite a few former stars of the Real Housewives franchise learned that if you weren’t interesting or dramatic enough you weren’t going to be kept on the show. With that in mind it seems former Real Housewives of New Jersey star Danielle Staub did everything in her power to create unbelievable drama at every turn and along the way became one of the most iconic villains in the show’s history. Staub quickly became unlikable for almost every cast member as well as every viewer and was involved in some intense altercations leading to the now infamous table flip scene by Theresa Giudice and the memorable fight she had with Jacqueline Laurita’s daughter Ashley Holmes. Eventually even the Real Housewives couldn’t handle her drama and she left the show in 2010 stating, “I’m way too good for this. They have used me about as much as I can be used.”

3. Spencer Pratt – The Hills

Despite dropping off the radar in recent years, Spencer Pratt has solidified himself in reality TV history as one of the all-time villains for his behavior and actions on The Hills, which included lying about a sex tape that he said Lauren Conrad had made, and eventually causing the complete dissolution of the friendship between Lauren and his now wife Heidi Montag. Pratt was known for going out of his way to cause controversy and intentionally creating conflict between others on the show who were friends. Later, he openly admitted that he had no problem doing whatever it took to get fame and screen time, even if it caused actual problems, and admitted it was “beyond worth the money.”

2. Farrah Abraham – Teen Mom OG

For those who watch Teen Mom, and even for those who don’t, the antics of Farrah Abraham have been well documented. It became evident even through her initial appearance on 16 and Pregnant that Abraham has a very bad attitude and an affinity for treating everyone else poorly, and over the years it has become increasingly worse. She is of course well known for her foray into the adult film industry (and refusing to admit that is how she made her money) and to Teen Mom fans she is known for saying absolutely horrendous and many times idiotic things to everyone else around her and then playing the victim. At this point it is clear she lives in a completely different reality than what is actually going on around her, and many cannot stand to even watch her and the way she treats her own family on the series anymore.

1. Chad Johnson – Bachelor Nation

The whole idea of reality TV villains was completely shaken up when Chad Johnson appeared on JoJo Fletcher’s season of The Bachelorette in 2016. There had been no one quite like Chad on the show before, in only four episodes he situated himself as not only a villain but potentially dangerous with his out of control angry rants in which he completely disrespected everyone else. Many were shocked when he was asked to be on Bachelor in Paradise where his reign of terror continued as he threatened one woman Lace and called her a b–ch and continued to threaten everyone saying he would murder them and their families. Unsurprisingly, the next morning Chad was kicked out.
