Friday Night Lights had a complicated run over its five seasons, and while it’s stilted seasons and change in networks interfered with as many fans as it could have had, the amazing cast and script reeled in a very loyal fanbase anyway. From new young actors to seasoned veterans, the show included a wide array of actors and actresses all at different stages in their careers. While some have been mostly absent from our screens since the show last aired in 2011, others have gone to bigger things and adding more numbers to their bank account. Being a star of Friday Night Lights was a great push into the spotlight as it was very well received and deemed a critical success even though it may have struggled at first and probably offered a pretty good paycheque for its stars. Check out how much the cast is worth now!

10. Aimee Teegarden

Estimated Net Worth: $3 Million. Aimee Teegarden was without a doubt the most hated character on Friday Night Lights as Julie Taylor, the daughter of the amazing Coach Eric and Tami Taylor. Teegarden began acting with small roles in shows like Hannah Montana, CSI, and 90210 before landing her role as Julie. She has also starred in a few films such as Scream 4 and starred in a couple of shows, both of which were cancelled after one or two seasons. Regardless, she has continued to act and thanks to her stable modelling career, Aimee Teegarden has a respectable net worth of $3 million.

9. Scott Porter

Estimated Net Worth: $2 Million. Scott Porter may not have been around for the entire series, but he was a very important character for the first couple of seasons as Jason Street, the star quarterback who is confined to a wheelchair following a devastating injury on the field. Prior to his work on the show Porter had already established himself as an actor appearing in As the World Turns and Ugly Betty. He was also in the 2006 film Music and Lyrics and the 2008 film Speed Racer. Following his time on Friday Night Lights, he had parts in big shows like The Good Wife and Hart of Dixie while also lending his voice to the animated X-Men series as the voice of Scott Summers/Cyclops, all adding up to an estimated $2 million.

8. Michael B. Jordan

Estimated Net Worth: $1 Million. Michael B. Jordan was well on his way to establishing his acting credibility before he landed the role of Vince Howard on Friday Night Lights. He appeared in recurring roles on The Wire, All My Children and The Assistants as well as several single episode appearances in many other big name shows between 1999-2009, but it was Friday Night Lights that boosted his popularity. Following the show he was in another Jason Katims created show Parenthood, and was in movies like Chronicle, Fruitvale Station and That Awkward Moment. While he is estimated to be worth $1 million that number is bound to be a bit bigger nowadays as he was in the 2015 remake of the Fantastic Four, which was a box office bomb, but probably held a pretty profitable contract for the actors. He is also starring in the Rocky spin-off film Creed, which is bound to carry a respectable paycheque.

3. Zach Gilford

Estimated Net Worth: $6 Million. For much of the first episode of Friday Night Lights it was not obvious that Zach Gilford’s character, Matt Saracen, would be the actual star of the show and the reveal was huge as Jason Street suffered his devastating injury. Estimated Net Worth: $8 Million. Taylor Kitsch quickly became one of the biggest stars on the show and has had the most recognized career afterwards. He appeared in John Tucker Must Die, Snakes on a Plane and The Covenant before raising his fame as Tim Riggins. Unfortunately for Kitsch many of his movies after Friday Night Lights including John Carter and Battleship were ripped apart by critics, but that hasn’t slowed down his acting as he is now a lead in HBO’s hit show True Detective. His starring roles in big name projects have served him well because even though critics don’t seem to like him very much, Kitsch is still worth an estimated $8 million.

1. Kyle Chandler

Estimated Net Worth: $5 Million. Friday Night Lights was an expertly crafted show as fans and critics alike will tell you, but a lot hinged on the role of Coach Eric Taylor and Kyle Chandler; he not only delivered, but he also created a legacy as one of the best TV characters ever.
