On Friday February 19, pop singer Kesha was left in tears after a judge ruled that she would not be released from her contract with Kemosabe Records which also links her to music producer Dr. Luke. Since last fall, the singer has come forward with her claims of the abuse she has suffered from Dr. Luke since she was 18 years old when she first signed with him. After the ruling, everyone was shocked, from fans to fellow celebrities and as a result many have taken to social media to stand in solidarity with Kesha and show their support, using the hashtag “FreeKesha.” Many have been vocal about their support, so here are 11 celebrities who stand behind Kesha and the larger issue surrounding her case.

11. Bea Miller

Former X Factor contestant Bea Miller was very vocal about the ruling. Writing four separate tweets starting with, “#FREEKESHA.” “If you don’t know what’s been happening to kesha go scroll through the hashtag.” She continued, “it disgusts me and breaks my heart that any court or person would continuously question a woman who claims she has been assaulted. The fact that kesha has to choose to either freely make music or avoid the person who abused her is outrageous and degrading #freekesha.”
