(BATON ROUGE, La.) — On Sunday night, Miss Nevada, Nia Sanchez, a 24-year-old model and a fourth-degree taekwondo black belt from Las Vegas, was crowned Miss USA 2014 during an NBC telecast of the Miss USA Competition.
Sanchez’ victory as the 63rd Miss USA at the Baton Rouge Civic Center in Louisiana meant that Miss North Dakota, Audra Mari, was deemed the first runner up.
