Taylor Swift, Kanye West, Kim Kardashian Feud: 8 Shocking Revelations

We think it is safe to say that Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift aren’t friends and they won’t be friends again anytime soon either. Kim has been vocal for the past month about her feelings for the blonde super star. According to her, Taylor and her husband Kanye West’s feud, which was reignited when he called her a b-tch in his song “Famous,” is total nonsense. Kanye sought approval and she showed the receipts of this conversation on SnapChat. So much drama has ensued as a result, which is why we have the 8 most shocking revelations of the Taylor, Kim and Kanye feud for you!

8. Taylor Allegedly Lied

Kim and Kanye are claiming that Taylor lied and that she did approve the lyrics for Kanye’s song, “Famous,” and from the recording that Kim released that seems to be the case. In the video on SnapChat, which was taken from the footage that he was shooting for his album Life of Pablo, Kanye reads Taylor the lyrics and explicitly asks for her permission to use her name. In response, she tells him to use whatever lyrics he wants and that he didn’t need to ask her permission.

7. Taylor’s Lawyer Sent a Letter

In her interview with GQ, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star revealed that the Bad Blood singer’s lawyers sent Kanye a letter demanding that he not do anything with the footage and asking that it be destroyed. TMZ recently confirmed this. They have alleged that Taylor and her lawyers also threatened the Life of Pablo rapper with criminal prosecution months ago for making the recording.

6. Taylor’s Note in Her Defense

After Kim posted the conversation receipts on SnapChat, Taylor took to Twitter and tweeted, “That moment when Kanye West secretly records your phone call, then Kim posts it on the Internet,” along with a note that explained that the “Gold Digger” rapper didn’t tell her that he was going to call her a b-itch in front of the entire world and this is what she has an issue with. Also, she mentioned that she asked to hear the song and he never played it for her, so how could she approve of a song that she never heard?

5. Selena Gomez Defends Taylor

In the midst of the Kim/Kanye/Taylor drama, Selena Gomez was quick to jump her friend’s defense. “There are more important things to talk about… Why can’t people use their voice for something that fucking matters?” she tweeted along with, “Truth is last thing we need right now is hate, in any form” and “This industry is so disappointing yet the most influential smh.” Unfortunately, she was quickly criticized for not using her celebrity platform to support causes like gun control and Black Lives Matter. In response, she tweeted and deleted, “So that means if I hashtag something I save lives? No, I could give two f–ks about ‘sides.’ You don’t know what I do.”

4. More Fights Ensue

As the Kim/Kanye/Taylor drama grows more heated, more celebrities have gotten involved like Chloe Grace Moretz. She asked her Twitter followers to stop wasting their voices on “petulant” and unimportant” issues like this. “Everyone in this industry needs to get their heads out of a hole and look around to realize what’s ACTUALLY happening in the REAL world,” she tweeted. Khloe Kardashian, who is not one to let anyone speak critically of one of her sisters, responded to Chloe’s tweet with, “Is this the a hole you’re referring to @ChloeGMoretz ???” along with an obscene photo. Ruby Rose, a member of Taylor’s squad, came to Chloe’s defense, criticizing her for bullying a 19-year-old girl. While many others including Chloe herself were quick to point out the girl in Khloe K’s tweet wasn’t even Chloe Moretz.

3. Camilla Belle Weighs In

Camilla Belle, the woman for whom Joe Jonas famously dumped Taylor, also responded to the Taylor/Kim/Kanye drama with a post on Instagram that references Taylor’s blind item song, “Better than Revenge,” which was reportedly about her. “No need for revenge. Just sit back & wait. Those who hurt you will eventually screw up themselves & if you’re lucky, God will let you watch,” the Instagram post read.

2. Taylor Might Sue

According to TMZ, the “Blank Space” singer is thinking about filing a crime report against Kanye for illegally recording their phone conversation and against Kim for publicly releasing it on SnapChat. In the state of California, it is illegal to record a conversation without both parties agreeing to it and Taylor was unaware that she was being recorded. She is still undecided, however. The Grammy-winning singer first has to weigh all of the pros and cons of filing a police report.

Unfortunately for Taylor, TMZ also reported that she can’t sue because she was aware that the conversation was overheard. She knew that Kanye had her on speaker phone. In fact, producer Rick Rubin speaks up multiple times and there’s also members of the crew that can also be heard speaking in that same room that Kanye was in. According to TMZ, this means that Kanye didn’t violate the law.

1. Tom Hiddleston is Supporting Taylor

Even though Taylor has not had a good week thanks to Kim releasing her phone call with Kanye on SnapChat and with the majority of the Internet siding with the controversial couple, she’s got new boyfriend Tom Hiddleston’s support. “Tom is really being so supportive and telling her to be calm,” a source told Us Weekly. “This is incredibly hurtful and unnecessary.”
