13. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry present baby Sussex

The world waited anxiously through the spring of 2019 for the arrival of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s baby! The date of his arrival came on May 6th, and they stepped out to reveal the baby to the world two days later on May 8th. For the monumental occasion, Meghan opted for a white trench dress by Givenchy which belted at the waist and featured gold buttons and pockets. She paired the look with minimal jewelry and a pair of simple nude Manolo Blahnik heels.

12. Queen Elizabeth’s wedding dress

Back in 1947, Princess Elizabeth and Prince Philip married in a ceremony that would bring hope to the public following the devastation of World War II. The marriage marked a moment of rebirth and served as an escape during a time of rationing and poverty. The public was more anxious than ever to see the look Queen Elizabeth would wear for the big day and her dress definitely delivered. 11. Kate Middleton and Prince William present new royal baby

Quite recently Kate Middleton and Prince William stepped out to present the third royal baby of their family to the world. Just seven hours after their son was born, Kate was already primped to perfection and ready to take on the public. She appeared in a Jenny Packham dress that featured a striking cherry red color and a contrast white lace collar. The look paid tribute to the outfit Lady Diana wore to present Prince Harry, which made this intimate moment even more special.

10. Lady Diana’s post-breakup outfit

This off-the-shoulder black number is arguably one of Princess Diana’s most iconic of all time. She wore the sleek, plunging dress to the 1994 Serpentine Gallery the same night a documentary was aired where Prince Charles confessed his affair with Camilla Parker-Bowles. The public anticipated how Diana would react to Charles’ public declaration of infidelity and she proved she was doing just fine when she stepped out and made jaws drop in this little black dress.

9. Kate Middleton and Prince William present Princess Charlotte

Kate Middleton has worn three very different outfits to present each of the royal babies, but this particular yellow number was one that was definitely worthy of note. The sunny yellow dress was the perfect choice for a bright spring morning to present Princess Charlotte to the world. The pastel Jenny Packham number featured a soft buttercup print and longer 3/4 length sleeves suiting to the brisk early May weather.

8. Meghan Markle’s engagement outfit

For months leading up their engagement, the public anticipated the moment Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would step out making their relationship official. For the special occasion, Markle opted for a crisp white wrap coat from a Canadian designer called Line The Label. The coat sold out within minutes of the engagement being announced and quickly became one of the most popular coat trends for winter following this appearance.

7. Lady Diana and Prince Charles present Prince William

One of Lady Diana’s most memorable outfits is this polka dot teal dress with a pussy bow detail along the collar she wore to present Prince William to the world. She paired the midi dress with bright magenta flats that were the perfect contrast to the teal for the exciting occasion. Prince William was born as a successor to the throne, which made this baby reveal one of the most anticipated of all time.

Grace Kelly’s 1956 lace wedding dress set the royal standard for bridal attire for generations to come. Grace Kelly had a celebrity-to-royal transition after marrying Prince Rainer II, which is quite similar to the process former actress and soon-to-be royal Meghan Markle will take. Kelly’s regal and delicate wedding gown coined the classic lace wedding dress style that has become a go-to for many royals, including Kate Middleton.

5. Kate Middleton and Prince William present Prince George

The reveal of Kate and William’s first royal baby was one of the most anticipated moments in royal history. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge stepped out to a sea of wild cheers where they showed off their firstborn son. The dress Kate wore was short and sweet and featured a soft periwinkle color and a polka dot print. The moment was another where Kate channeled her late mother-in-law. Although the shades of blue were slightly different, the polka dot print was a clear ode to the moment Diana stepped out holding Prince William.

One of the most anticipated royal fashion moments ever was the appearance that Prince William and Kate Middleton would make together to announce their official engagement. The moment came on November 16th, 2010 and Kate looked stunning as ever in a sapphire blue wrap dress designed by Issa London. The jewel-toned dress featured a wrap around the waist and a skirt that fell in soft pleats to reach just above her knees. The dress sold out in minutes and is still one of the most buzzed-about Kate Middleton looks of all time.

3. Meghan Markle’s wedding dress

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s nuptials were one of the most anticipated events of 2018 so, naturally, her wedding dress reveal was also a highly anticipated moment. For the big day, she decided to go with a simple but elegant look with her Givenchy Couture gown, but it was her monarch-length veil that stole the show. Made of silk tulle and featuring elaborate embroidery, it included floral detail representing all 53 countries of the Commonwealth. To hold the beautiful veil in place, she wore Queen Mary’s filigree Tiara.
