Gavin Rossdale is opening up about his tumultuous split from ex Gwen Stefani and recently called the events that unfolded his most embarrassing moment.
Rossdale was interviewed Q&A style by The Guardian which was published on Saturday. When asked to name his most embarrassing moment, Rossdale answered, “the gross and lopsided spectre of the crumbling of my marriage.”

Stefani filed for divorce in 2015 citing irreconcilable differences after nearly 13 years of marriage to Rossdale. The split was highly publicized at the time and rumors swirled about Rossdale’s alleged affair with the nanny of the couple’s three sons.
Rossdale opened up in 2017 with The Sun’s Fabulous magazine about the divorce saying it was “completely opposite to what I wanted.”
“But here we are,” he said. “Apart from death, I think divorce is one of the hardest, most painful things to go through.”
“We had 20 years together and that in itself is pretty incredible,” he added. “It’s a lifetime. I still think she’s incredible. It was a lovely 20 years and we have three amazing children. There were a lot of positives, and with time they’ll become more and more obvious.”
