With Supernatural coming to an end with its fifteenth season, the cast of the long-running series is moving on to new things and for Jensen Ackles, that is releasing his first ever album.
The actor along with musician Steve Carlson make up the group Radio Company which they formed in 2018, but unofficially the pair have been writing and performing music together for nearly 15 years. Now, it has been confirmed that they have completed their debut album, titled Radio Company Vol.1 and their first single is “Sounds of Someday.” While the single is available right now in iTunes, the album will be released on November 8.
Ackles and Carlson made the album announcement via Radio Company’s Instagram on Monday, during which Ackles also thanked fans for the support they’ve already shown.
“Quick shout out. Check link in bio for iTunes pre-sale of the debut album. The single “Sounds of Someday” is available now when you order. The album will be on all platforms November 8th,” the pair wrote alongside the announcement.
“Hey everybody, Radio Company here,” Ackles begins the message after strumming a note. “I just wanted to take a second to say thank you for all of the support of the album. The single “Sounds of Someday” is available for presale right now, the entire album will be dropping on November 8.” Carlson added his thanks and said, “until then we are going to be working on volume two.”
Supernatural airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
