It is the end of an era on RHOBH!

After a lot of drama and time in the tabloids, original Housewife Lisa Vanderpump has confirmed she is leaving the hit Bravo reality series Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after nine seasons.

The 58-year-old said “yes” when Us Weekly asked if her time on the show was over, and then she added, “I made the decision to leave. It was a very difficult year for me, personally and professionally. I had wonderful things happen this year, opening up and TomTom and the cocktail garden in Vegas. The Housewives, it’s just, it’s emotionally too difficult to deal with.”

She also talked to Extra about her decision after she was awarded the Legacy Award at the 7th Annual Real to Reel: Portrayals and Perceptions LGBT event in Hollywood. “The last year was a very negative year for me,” she said. “I feel like we’re moving forward. They have had their resolution. I just had a horrible time with the show and the women. It was a very sad time in my life and it wasn’t made any better. I just decided to walk away.”

Vanderpump’s announcement came only one day after Andy Cohen revealed that she did not attend the season 9 reunion taping.

Of course, she also has the spinoff Vanderpump Rules based around her and her husband’s restaurant SUR and the people who work there which has had seven successful seasons.

Before she skipped the reunion, Vanderpump stopped filming with the rest of the cast about halfway through season 9 and some sources are saying that she was “caught in a lie” and now doesn’t want to face her cast mates.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Tuesdays (9 p.m. ET) on Bravo.
