Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry and on-and-off boyfriend Chris Lopez are expecting their second child together!
“We’re confirming the news, baby #4 is coming soon!” Lowry captioned her Instagram baby reveal on Tuesday, February 4. “I’m almost 16 weeks pregnant & it’s been a rough few months this time around. I’ve had nausea, morning sickness, and absolutely no energy. This week I’m starting to feel a bit better and I’m really hoping it stays this way.”
The Teen Mom 2 star and Lopez share 2-year-old son Lux. Lowry is also a mom to 9-year-old son Isaac, whom she shares with ex Jo Rivera, and 6-year-old son Lincoln, whom she shares with ex-husband Javi Marroquin.
Lowry revealed her relationship status with Lopez in January during the Teen Mom 2 reunion. “There’s no coparenting right now,” the MTV reality star podcast told Dr. Drew and Nessa Diab. “Right now, he is just working and going to therapy as far as I know. Working on himself. And I know he will see Lux when the time is right.”
The pair have had a tumultuous relationship since they began dating in 2016. In January 2019, Lowry opened dup to the Watch With Us podcast about her and Lopez’s rocky relationship.
“Chris and I are always together even when we’re not together — if that makes any sense,” she shared at the time. “Don’t be surprised if you see a wedding in the tabloids next month.”
The Teen Mom 2 star also revealed that while Lopez is “a huge part” of her and her kids’ lives, he’s not interested in appearing on the reality show.
“I think he kind of feels like it’s my thing,” Lowry said. “He’s watched Jo, Javi and other people take advantage of me being on the show and the platform that it brings them … and I think that he doesn’t want to be that person.”
