Justin Hartley has found his next gig following his time on This Is Us!
With the sixth and final season of This Is Us in the works, many have wondered what the cast will do next. Justin Hartley, who plays Kevin Pearson on the series, already has his next gig lined up.
CBS announced on Thursday that Hartley will star in and executive produce the pilot for The Never Game. The series will be a drama based on the bestselling Colter Shaw series by author Jeffrey Deaver.
The series will tell the story of hero and expert tracker Colter Shaw as he roams the country as a “reward seeker” and uses his skills to help solve mysteries, while still facing the struggles of his own broken family.
“I couldn’t be happier that The Never Game is coming to CBS, and that Colter Shaw will be brought to life on screen soon,” Hartley said in a statement about the potential first season. “When I read the book, I was immediately drawn to the character and the story; developing this project with Ken [Olin] has been a true labor of love. Colter is going to kick some serious ass, and I can’t wait for audiences to meet him.”
Ken Olin and Hartley have previously worked together on This Is Us, with Olin having directed many episodes and serving as an executive producer. News of Hartley and Olin’s collaboration on The Never Game was first announced in January.
