6. Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom

Since Lamar Odom’s overdose, Khloe Kardashian has become his strongest supporter. When he was first hospitalized, she didn’t leave his bedside and while promoting her new show, Kocktails with Khloe, she hasn’t stopped talking about how much she loves him and what a wonderful person he is. Considering that he cheated on her consistently throughout their marriage, she’s either lost her mind or she really does love him unconditionally.

5. Christie Brinkley and Billy Joel

Christie Brinkley and Billy Joel are another couple that have remained on good terms after breaking up. “Well, I’ve had a lot of practice. You know what it was, we had Alexa [Ray Joel] together and we knew that was going to bind us together for life so we wanted to make our divorce work,” Christie said. “Of course as you’re going through it, you know, you can get a little bit raw, but you cannot find him saying a bad word about me or me saying a bad word about him, no matter what happens.”

4. Kim Richards and Monty Brinson

Kim Richards and Monty Brinson married young and divorced young, but they are the best of friends. As Monty has been battling cancer, Kim has been there for him. He moved in with her for a while so that she could take care of him and she’s reportedly been struggling with the fact that he’s dying. Poor Kim. Monty’s been a constant in her, so watching him die must be extraordinarily hard.

3. Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy

Even though things didn’t work out between Kate Hudson and ex fiancé Matt Bellamy, they still consider each other family. They are committed to being the best co-parents that they can be and they have continued to work together. “We’re family for the rest of our lives, we have a beautiful baby and we love making wine,” she told Wine Enthusiast magazine. “We’ll continue doing it.” Things are so chummy between these two that they spent Christmas 2015 together.

Since announcing their separation in March 2014, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin have been acting friendlier than when they were married. It hasn’t been easy either. “We’ve worked really f–king hard to get to [this] point,” Gwyneth said. “But we’re very, very close, and it’s so nice. I feel like it’s, in a way, the relationship we were meant to have.”

1. Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner announced that their marriage was over last June, but since then, they’ve been working on being the best co-parents that they can be.
