Taylor Swift has undergone quite the transformation in the last year or so. At one point, we all sneered at her for her serial dating habits and all the songs she wrote about each of her exes. In the last year, however, we have all seen a very different side of her and it has made us all fall in love with her. These days, everything is coming up Swifty. She can’t seem to do any wrong and everything she touches seems to turn to gold. We don’t know how you’re feeling but, right about now, we want to celebrate Taylor Swift and how awesome she is. Here are 9 reasons why she totally rocks!
9. She’s Charitable
The “Blank Space” singer is super charitable. This past December, DoSomething.org crowned her the most charitable celebrity, in part because of a donation that she provided to New York City schools. However, we can say with absolute certainty that she’s done a lot more than that. She’s also supported Feeding America, UNICEF and Habitat for Humanity, as well as other charitable organizations like the American Red Cross. She donated $100,000 to them to help victims of a 2008 flood in Iowa. We think that it’s only a matter of time before Taylor’s donating money to charities the same way Angelina Jolie, her idol, does.
