9. Don Diamont’s Advice For Chris Rock

With everyone eager to chime in on Will Smith’s Oscars meltdown, Don Diamont’s advice to Chris Rock might seem like more white noise. However, it turns out Dollar Bill has first-hand experience when it comes to falling on the wrong side of the Smith family. To prove it, Diamont shared his cameo from the 90s film A Low Down Dirty Shame, in which Jada Pinkett punched his character in the face. “Be glad it was Will who threw the cheap shot, and not Jada,” Diamont advised Chris Rock on Instagram. “I’m speaking from experience. We both should’ve ducked!”

8. Sean Kanan’s Tribute to Bruce Willis

Sean Kanan (Deacon) also reacted to a Hollywood headline, as news spread about Bruce Willis’s decision to step away from acting due to his aphasia diagnosis. “Saddened to learn that the legendary Bruce Willis has retired,” Kanan posted on Instagram with an image from their film Survive The Game. “I had the honor of working on two films with Bruce. He was kind and a gentleman.”

“I grew up watching him and it was a lifelong dream to work with him, not once but twice,” Kanan continued. “I want to wish he and his family all the best.”

7. Joking Around Down Under

Members of the B&B cast decided to have a laugh while marketing the soap’s 35th anniversary for audiences in Australia. Thorsten Kaye (Ridge), Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke), Krista Allen (Taylor) and Kimberlin Brown (Sheila) put together this ridiculous clip, in which all four of them realize — at the same time, no less — that they’re turning 35 years old.

6. Sheila’s Great Escape

While Sheila tries to keep her ghastly shooting a secret, portrayer Kimberlin Brown has already made her getaway… to Minnesota! “Heading cross country to pick up my new freshwater fishing boat in Minnesota,” Brown shared on Instagram. “I’ll be posting photos from along the way.” True to her word, she’s been documenting many roadside stops from her trip, including shots at Badlands National Park and a cattle ranch in Wyoming.

5. Will Maya Return?

Questions regarding the possible return of Maya Avant were addressed in a new interview with actress Karla Mosley. “There are so many stories to be told by Maya, but I don’t think they should be told by me,” Mosley told Soaps.com, “because I am a cisgender person. And I really believe that trans people should be playing trans characters.” So, if Maya were ever to return – and we really think she should – it won’t be Mosley playing her. Catch her full comments on the role, here.

4. Tanner Novlan’s Exit

If any B&B fans were clinging to the notion that Finn may have survived being shot by his birth mother, we have sad news: Tanner Novlan has wrapped up his time with the CBS soap, according to Soaps.com. Although it’s sad that the good doctor will no longer be on the canvas, he will be remembered as an upstanding guy who fathered Kelly and Hayes as best he could. But Sheila had better pay for what she’s done!

3. “Biberty” Lives On!

Finn may be a goner, but we’ll always have Biberty! Tanner Novlan has reprised his role as Liberty Mutual’s struggling actor, and the commercial – which is really a series of “bloopers” – is below. “Biberty is back!” Novlan shared on Instagram. “And he’s worse.” Notice how Scott Clifton (Liam) commented, “Never gets old. Ever.” We tend to agree!

2. Could Paris Be Next?

On the heels of Novlan’s exit, there have been unverified rumors that Diamond White (who portrays Paris) might be the next actor to exit B&B. White has a budding singing career, so perhaps she is choosing to leave daytime television behind. Alternately, B&B could be looking to move on from her character’s string of unpopular romances. Time will tell whether these rumors are true!

1. B&B Alum Is Now A Realtor

Kyle Lowder, who formerly played Rick Forrester, has just announced a career change! The former soaps star made it official on his Instagram, stating, “As someone who has had a 22 year love affair with Montecito and Santa Barbara, I could not be more grateful to be taking my business here.” Will he still make time for the occasional daytime drama stint? Let’s hope so.
