9. Others Go To Minnesota

Meanwhile, Kimberlin Brown (Sheila) has been taking fans on a very different tour, as she enjoys some time off in Minnesota. The star has welcomed social media followers into her cabin retreat and taken them on a fishing expedition. “This is me fishing at Bass Lake in Minnesota, and you’re probably saying why –” Brown said in an Instagram video, before a frigid gust of wind drowned out her words. Hmm… is anyone still on the B&B set right now?

8. Two More Years Of Deacon

Hot on the heels of his crossover with The Young and the Restless, Sean Kanan (Deacon) has agreed to stick around L.A. for a lot longer. “I just signed on for another two year contract,” the actor told Daytime Confidential in a new interview. Fans of the character (and his wild romance with Sheila) will be pleased by this! Speaking of that quirky pairing, Kanan also shared some insights on his character’s situation. “Deacon has a healthy respect, and possibly, a little bit of fear of what Sheila is capable of,” Kanan explained. “He does not want to get on the wrong side of Sheila. That’s one thing. I think the second thing is that she has intimated that she’s got all this money. Although, Deacon certainly hasn’t seen it yet.” Sounds like he’ll have lots of time to look, in any case!

7. Aaron D. Spears Is Returning

Everyone’s favorite legal eagle will return to the B&B canvas, as Aaron D. Spears is set to reprise the role of Justin Barber. Since B&B spoilers tease that the attorney will make a deal at Forrester Creations, fans are wondering if Barber could be tasked with solving who phoned Child Protective Services. It would be sweet revenge for the disgraced fixer if he learns that Thomas — the very person who exposed his scheme to take over Spencer Publications — was behind the call! Spears will reappear on canvas on Thursday, October 20th.

6. And So Is Denise Richards

Funny enough, Justin isn’t the only character returning to B&B on October 20th — Shauna Fulton is, as well. (Adding to the curious timing is the fact that both Aaron D. Spears and Denise Richards last appeared on the soap in November 2021; what are the odds?) Regardless, Shauna will receive a visit from Carter when he seeks answers about Quinn’s disappearance. B&B fans aren’t very happy about the way Rena Sofer’s character is being written off the show, so maybe Shauna can provide some context.

5. Is Alley Mills Leaving?

It was recently announced that longtime B&B staple Alley Mills, who portrays the wily Pam Douglas, is moving over to General Hospital (GH). The actress is set to take on a new role, although the ABC soap won’t reveal anything about the mysterious character. Given how infrequently she appears on B&B, could Mills be eyeing new opportunities in daytime television? Fall spoilers tease that she’ll be present for the Forrester Thanksgiving dinner, but that’s it.

4. Love Triangle Boredom

Doing everything from venting online to boycotting the show, viewers are decrying B&B over its love triangle between Brooke, Ridge and Taylor. In the eyes of many fans, the storyline has been demeaning for all three characters; Ridge seems positively heartless, while Brooke and Taylor shamelessly beg for his attention. Viewers are also annoyed by the emphasis on this love triangle, which is reducing screen-time for other characters. According to our poll, viewers want this storyline to end for good!

3. B&B‘s Ratings Spike

B&B ratings for the week of October 3rd through 7th surged to their highest point in nearly two months, according to Soap Opera Network. While sister-soap Y&R also enjoyed a rebound performance, B&B logged its best performance since the week of August 8th through 12th with 2.897 million viewers! Fans can complain all they like about the Brooke, Taylor and Ridge love triangle, but they clearly tuned in to all the Aspen drama!

2. Lawrence Saint-Victor On Rena Sofer

In a recent interview, Rena Sofer recounted how she told co-star Lawrence Saint-Victor that he could be a leading man. And judging from the audience response to the “Quarter” romance, Sofer was onto something! So it was interesting to hear what Saint-Victor had to say in response, when Sofer’s name was brought up during a recent Bold Live interview. “Man, I loved working with Rena,” Saint-Victor replied. “As soon as we got on the phone and talked, we had a similar work ethic — like, we dig and find the minutia and details.” While both actors were surprised to find out they were being paired up, they forged an amazing rapport that has left fans heartbroken in the wake of Sofer’s exit.

1. Rena Chops The Mop

Speaking of Quinn, Rena Sofer is still doing what she can to make the world a happier place. In a recent Instagram video, she had twelve inches of her hair chopped off as a donation to Locks Of Love, a charity dedicated to providing cranial prostheses to children living with medical hair loss — all free of charge! “I have really long hair — it’s really long — and I’m going to cut my really long hair and I’m going to give what we’re cutting off — twelve inches — to Locks of Love,” Sofer explained, looking a tad nervous. Could she wind up showing off her new hairstyle on GH?
