It looks as if Trina’s trial is wrapping up, so will the young lady be found innocent or guilty of all charges? What drama will unfold between Spencer, Esme, Nikolas and Ava now that the truth is out? What’ll happen at the Metro Court pool this week? General Hospital (GH) fans love speculating on storylines! As such, below are some GH plotline predictions for August 1st to 12th, 2022.

12. The Ending Of Trina’s Trial

Trina’s trial is wrapping up, and GH spoilers offer some hints around the outcome. While teasers mentioning the courtroom drama appear over the next couple of days, they are missing throughout the week of August 8th. There have been ups and downs during the trial, but the real question is: will Trina be found innocent or guilty? It’s a 50/50 shot at this point.

11. Spencer Takes The Fall

There’s a chance that Trina may be found innocent. Looking onward to the week of August 8th, GH spoilers imply that Spencer may have to deal with the consequences of his actions. Could he retake the stand and decide to state he was behind the video? Or, will these “consequences” surround his recent testimony, acting as Trina’s alibi during the email distribution of the video?

10. Lounging By The Pool

Another GH spoiler which seems to hint that Trina will be found innocent is one stating that she and Joss will be “lounging by the pool” during the week of August 8th. Trina’s not being held up in jail during her trial, but it does seem odd that she’d be by the pool if she was found guilty. Perhaps the judge will be deliberating the case next week. If so, Joss may attempt to keep Trina’s mind off of things by taking her to the Metro Court pool.

9. Then Again, She Could Be Found Guilty…

Then again, Trina could be found guilty by the end of this week and hit the pool with Joss during the week of August 8th to keep her mind off her fate. It takes a while for sentencing to occur, so Trina and Josslyn may decide to make the best out of Robinson’s last days of freedom.

8. Spence Finds Out About The One-Nighter

With Ava in the know, it’s only a matter of time before Spencer learns about his dad’s one-night stand with his ex-girlfriend. How will Spencer react? Will this place a kink in their father-son relationship? They were just starting to get back on track! Spence likely won’t be overly surprised with Esme’s behavior but he’ll feel let down by what his dad’s done.

7. Ava and Spencer Bond

These two are bound to become friends, and likely even establish a stepmother/son bond at some point. Nothing helps bring two people together like common ground, so Nik and Esme’s betrayal will help strengthen Ava and Spence’s relationship over the next two weeks. They also have Trina in common, so it’ll be interesting to see Jerome’s reaction to hearing what Spence did for Robinson on the stand.

6. The Incident At The Metro Court Pool

Something major is about to go down at the Metro Court pool; so much so, that the police will get called! Will this be a major incident, like a shooting, robbery, or explosion? It could also be a small squabble between two rivals that gets a tad ugly. (Looking at you, Nina and Carly, or Ava and Esme!) Only time will tell. With that said, GH spoilers also note that Dante will arrest someone during the week of August 8th. Could this be connected to the Metro Court incident?

5. Willow Keeps Things Hush-Hush

Willow’s about to find out more about her condition when TJ presents test results this coming week. In fact, Willow will also sit down with Britt and Terry to learn more about her health issue. Willow has desperately been keeping all of this quiet from Michael. Will he learn about what’s going on with his better half over the next two weeks? She’ll likely decide to find out more about her condition, as well as treatment options before she tells him. It’s a lingering secret she will be desperate to keep.

4. Giving Sasha The Boot

Given everything she’s going through as of late, it looks like Sasha might get the boot from Deception. Well, she likely won’t get fired, as Lucy, BLQ and Maxie understand why Mrs. Corbin’s struggling so much. However, the ladies are set to discuss the Face of Deception this week. Will they decide that Sasha needs an extended break from her duties?

3. Dex’s Assignment = Sonny’s Downfall

Sonny is set to give Dex an assignment during the week of August 1st. With Michael lingering in the shadows, could this be the start of Sonny’s downfall? His son is being deceitful, but Sonny’s years of mob experience may give him the advantage. There’s a good chance Corinthos can smell a rat in Dex but is not letting on. He could be playing the young man until he has a chance to nab him when the time is right.

From the looks of GH spoilers for the week of August 8th, it seems as if Kristina is set to return to the canvas. What will bring her back into storylines?
