The question on everyone’s mind is: will Diane be okay? Who’s behind all these attacks? And with another one on the horizon, what will be the aftermath? General Hospital (GH) fans just love to speculate on storylines! As such, below are some GH plotline predictions for September 26th to October 7th, 2022.

12. Will Diane Be Okay?

From the looks of GH’s weekly preview, the hook slasher will strike again this week. A clip reveals what looks like Diane’s body, lying in blood. Seems like Ms. Miller won’t be able to escape the vile hook slasher! But the bigger question is: will she survive to tell the tale, or will she suffer the same fate as Brando? There’s a 50/50 chance of either scenario, at this point. The slasher needs another victim in the grave to keep viewers invested. With that said, Diane’s a very popular character.

11. Who’s Next?

GH spoilers for the week of October 3rd note that the hook slasher will strike again. So, who’s next? With Diane now in the mix, the link between all these victims seems to be Sonny Corinthos. Dante has his eye on Dex as a suspect, and after Friday’s show, the henchman will continue to be a major person of interest. However, he’s likely not the person behind all of this. Could Dex be the next victim? Could he be caught in the crossfire of the hook slasher if he tries to save Josslyn?

10. This Could Clear Dex’s Name

If Dex is the next one to get the hook, it would certainly clear his name. But at what cost? With that said, if he saves Josslyn and gets hurt in the process, he’ll not only win the affection of both his “bosses” (Sonny and Michael), but also Joss herself. If Dex is the next to get slashed, he’ll probably end up like Ava — hurt, but not in a grave. He’s linked to too many storylines right now to become another slashing statistic.

9. Who Are The Suspects?

If someone is trying to get back at Sonny, it’s hard not to think that Victor Cassadine is behind this. After all, there seems to be an unspoken rivalry brewing between these larger-than-life characters. Then again, it could be Cyrus Renault, inching his way back to Port Charles. What if it’s someone random like Lorenzo Alcazar [pictured] returning from the grave? Sonny has a ton of enemies, so the possibilities are endless.

GH spoilers for the week of October 3rd note that Ava will seek out Ryan. Fans know he’s “fine” and just acting like a zombie, so could Chamberlain be behind these slashings? Many might wonder why he would target those close to Sonny; however, he has a history with Ava. Plus, he could be on a hook-slashing spree against people linked to Corinthos because of threats the mob boss uttered to Esme.

7. Could Finn’s Late Wife Be A Link?

Creepy doesn’t even cover the fact that Finn’s late wife is the same woman who Elizabeth sketched when talking about her flashback memories. Reiko could somehow be linked to all these hook slash incidents, especially since Sonny seems like a viable link. But Finn did mention a poisonous snake bite, his friend’s passing, and how it seems familiar to a case he’s working on now (Brando’s passing). Either way, Finn’s late wife will likely enter the GH canvas soon, and come between the Liz/Finn romance.

GH spoilers for this week imply that Liz will confide in Gregory. Will she tell him how her sketch bears an uncanny resemblance to Finn’s late wife? Will Gregory keep this major detail from Finn? Could it help his own investigation with Alexis? Could the lady in Elizabeth’s sketch be Reiko, or possibly an evil twin of the woman?

#TeamCarSon fans were likely over the moon when the two had a very civil chat this week. The conversation, which bordered on “close and personal”, seemed like the kind Carly and Sonny would have had in the old days, when the two were a couple and looking out for each other. Will this hook slasher storyline bring “CarSon” back together?

4. Sonny Become Sasha’s Guardian

Sonny is stepping up to the plate in a major way for Sasha. Who could blame him? Brando was his family, and he can see the young lady is hurting. He made a promise to his cousin before his passing that he’d watch over his loved ones. With Sasha’s guardianship up in the air, now that her hubby is gone, Sonny will likely jump in and help her. But does this mean she has to move in?

3. Will Their Friendship Rub Nina The Wrong Way?

Sonny has a mansion and a compound, so Gladys and Sasha will likely both move in. He certainly has the room for two more guests! Given the way Brando passed away, Corinthos will want the ladies under his roof and under his watch. With that said, Sonny and Sasha are growing very close. There are likely no romantic feelings between the two, just a father-figure relationship. But still, will Nina resent Sonny’s affection toward the young lady?

It’s becoming clearer and clearer that Maxie and Austin have zero chemistry. GH spoilers show the two in each other’s orbits over the next two weeks. Also, Maxie did make a comment last week that if she wasn’t so interested in Dr. Austin, Cody would be an option.
