12. Jack’s Reality Check

Y&R spoilers for this coming week imply that Phyllis will give Jack a reality check. While Abbott recently admitted to still having feelings for Red, he may not like to hear the blunt things she has to say. Phyllis is pushing Jack’s buttons when it comes to Jenkins — and not in a good way. Will this push him all the way into Diane’s arms?

11. Jack and Diane Get Closer…

Y&R spoilers over the next two weeks hint that Diane will confide in Jack. This will only bring the two closer together. While Jack insists that he would never trust Jenkins with his heart again, Mr. Abbott is very vulnerable right now, and Diane knows how to manipulate him. She’ll take every opportunity to bond with her ex, as it is crystal clear that she wants him back.

10. Will Diane Use Harrison?

Harrison is going through a rough time right now, and Diane seems to be helping the boy tremendously. If Harrison asks to hang out with both his grandparents, there’s no way Jack would say “no” to a playdate with the young boy and Diane. Could Jenkins use this as an opportunity to get closer to Jack? Absolutely!

9. Tessa’s Recovery Isn’t Smooth

Tessa’s surgery will take place this coming week, and she’ll be in recovery mode over the next couple of weeks, if not longer. Porter will not be able to use her vocal cords in any capacity, which means no singing or even talking. Could this place a strain on “Teriah”? What if Tessa’s recovery doesn’t go as smoothly as she hopes?

8. Will Her Career Be Over?

If there’s a kink in Tessa’s recovery, this could affect her singing career. There’s been a buzz online from fans speculating that Porter’s days on that mic may be numbered. While having a support system in Mariah (and her family) will help, it would be difficult to leave her passion behind. It’ll likely place a tremendous strain on her relationship with Copeland. It may also cause Ms. Porter to spiral into old toxic behaviors.

7. Things Go From Bad To Worse

Things are bad between Devon and Nate right now, but Y&R spoilers for the next two weeks only hint they’ll get worse. Sounds like a power struggle will ensue at Chancellor-Winters that’ll likely leave both Amanda and Lily feeling awkward and frustrated. Will this affect the company’s bottom line? Will things turn ugly between the two cousins?

6. Imani Takes Advantage

Imani will likely take advantage of the hate-on between Devon and Nate so that she and Hastings can get closer. Will she suggest scheming to Nate, so that Hamilton ends up looking bad in front of his peers at Chancellor-Winters? Will she scheme on her own? This could not only affect Devon’s status with the company, but also his relationships with Amanda and Lily.

5. Chance and Kevin Get Closer To The Truth

Looks like Chance and Kevin will get some major leads in the Ashland Locke case this week and follow up on them during the week of August 8th. Sounds like the duo will get closer to finding out the truth behind the Locke-Ness Monster’s passing, which could keep Victor (and the rest of the Newman clan) on their toes.

4. Victor’s Nervous

Y&R spoilers for the next two weeks seem to imply that Victor will be on edge. He’ll put Adam on notice, and also issue Nick an ultimatum. What has the Moustache so nervous that he’s lashing out at his sons? Seems like Victor may realize that Chance is onto him when it comes to Ashland’s passing.

3. Could This Affect “Chabby”?

Abby was never overly involved with the Ashland drama. When family meetings were called, even Adam was kept in the loop before Abby was — which is weird, because Abby is far closer to Victoria than Adam ever has been. If Chance finds some evidence which implicates Victor in Locke’s passing (or proof that he did something fishy in the process), this could affect his relationship with Abby. She’s a daddy’s girl and the apple of her father’s eye.

2. Does Lily Have To Worry About Vic Or Chelsea?

Now that Ashland is out of the picture, Vic and Billy are bonding. She continually confides in him, and according to Y&R spoilers, he’ll lend some support and comfort to his ex in the days ahead. Strangely, Billy also seems to be bonding with another ex, Chelsea, as they work on a podcast project together. Should Lily be concerned that her boyfriend has such good relationships with his exes, or see it as a positive trait? Will either of these ladies try to “move in” on Lily’s man?

1. Conflict Creates Sparks

Nick and Sally have been spending some time together as of late, thanks to their work at Newman, and Y&R spoilers hint there will be more of this in the near future. Sally will “grill” Nick in the days ahead, and while this may seem like a negative thing, conflict can also create “sparks” between two characters. Are Nick and Sally slowly on the road to becoming a “thing”? Only time will tell!
