12. Phyllis’ Plan Backfires

Phyllis contacting Jeremy Stark was a terrible move. His entry into Genoa City will cause chaos this week, and based on Nikki and Ashley’s reactions, Red’s move was a major mistake. Phyllis’ plan will backfire on her and leave everyone (including loved ones and allies) upset with her, while Diane continues to revel in the role of the “victim”.

This week’s Y&R preview video shows everyone scrambling now that Jeremy is in town. Diane and Jack are outraged, while Victoria and Victor acknowledge that Stark is a “threat”. 10. Will Jack Pay Him Off?

Y&R spoilers for the week of December 12th hint that Jack will make a dire deal. Will he attempt to pay Stark off, in the hopes that Jeremy departs town and leaves his family and Diane alone? If he does give Stark a lump sum, will this guarantee everyone’s safety? After all, the criminal isn’t someone who can be trusted. Maybe Jeremy will ask for stocks in Jabot. Will Abbott oblige?

9. How Much Will Phyllis Lose?

Y&R spoilers for the week of December 12th imply that Phyllis’ plan will have a “boomerang effect”. It’s clear that she’ll betray her alliance with Ashley and Nikki. Those two will drop her this week and likely abandon any further plans to drive Diane out of town. Summer will also be very upset at her mom. Plus, Phyllis will lose any hope of keeping Jack’s friendship after this. But, could this “boomerang” also mean that she’ll become a target of Jeremy’s?

Chance has been the bigger person in his break-up with Abby by being discreet about her and Devon’s one-nighter. With that said, Victor will continue to poke him about his marriage and pending separation. No one would blame Chance if he spilled the beans at this point. Y&R spoilers suggest that Mr. Chancellor will make a bold move in the days ahead. He’ll either tell Victor exactly why his marriage has been torn apart or he’ll tell Newman to back off. He may also try to press the fast-forward button on his separation. Or, perhaps Chance’s “bold move” will be leaning in for a passionate kiss with a single Genoa City lady — looking at you, Chelsea or Sharon!
