6 Celebrities With The Most Restrictive Diets

Celebrities are all about controlling what they eat. While some of them do introduce some flexibility into their diets, others are beyond rigid – like these 6 celebrities. They are so obsessed with what they eat that it actually seems unhealthy!

6. Gwyneth Paltrow

Gwyneth Paltrow is known for having a rather extreme diet, though she claims that this isn’t the case anymore. She used to avoid carbs, gluten and processed foods. In addition, she also avoided coffee, alcohol, dairy, eggs, sugar, shellfish, deep-water fish, wheat, meat and soy. As you can see, it’s a pretty limited diet and she made her children follow it too!

5. Gisele Bundchen

Gisele Bundchen has a really strict diet. According to her personal chef, meals at her and Tom Brady’s home are organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, sugar-free, dairy-free, caffeine-free, mushroom-free, olive oil- and canola oil-free, eggplant-free, bell pepper-free and, for the most part, tomato-free. They do eat lean meat (mostly fish) with whole grains, beans and quinoa, but that’s pretty much the extent of it.

4. Madonna

Madonna follows a very strict macrobiotic diet, which means no wheat, eggs, meats or dairy and only nuts, grains and vegetables. She reportedly has a specially hired Japanese chef that follows her wherever she goes and prepares meals for her and her children also have to follow her diet.

3. Megan Fox

Megan Fox has a pretty rigid diet, or at least she did before she recently got pregnant. She totally cut out carbs. “I cut out all bread and those sort of carbohydrates. No crackers, no pretzels, no chips. Nothing unhealthy,” she told E! News. “The worst thing I put in my body is coffee, once a day.” She also claims not to have cheat days – yikes!

2. Kate Hudson

Kate Hudson swears by a high alkaline diet. The idea behind the alkaline diet is that certain foods like meat, eggs, dairy and sugary substances make the body acidic, which can lead to health problems. She tries to get 60 to 80 percent of her caloric intake from foods like tofu, nuts and most fruits and vegetables. A vegetarian diet like this will get you plenty of fiber, vitamin C, folate, magnesium, potassium and countless beneficial phytochemicals; however, without proper guidance, it could lead to nutrient deficiencies.

1. Kourtney Kardashian

Kourtney Kardashian’s diet includes only organic, non-GMO, gluten free and dairy free foods. Even she admits that the gluten-free part is really hard, especially for her three children. “We went to Rob’s birthday on Saturday night and he had this huge cake, and I brought them these gluten-free, dairy-free chocolate chip cookies,” she said. “But I warned them in advance, and they were fine. Kim was like, ‘North would never do that.’” We wouldn’t be into it either!
