Janelle Monae didn’t hold back with her look for the 2020 Oscars this year!
The actress wore a stunning silver Ralph Lauren creation which featured full-length sleeves, an A-line shape, and crystals embroidered throughout. The gown also featured a stunning keyhole cutout that could be seen when Monae posed backward.
Monae isn’t one to play it safe when it comes to fashion, which was definitely the case with her look this year because of the dramatic hood detail on the gown. The hood featured over 600 hours of hand embroidery and incorporated over 168,000 Swarovski crystals into its design. This most definitely makes the hood the most glamorous one we’ve ever seen.
She topped the look with a red lip, a sparkling choker, and diamond rings which added even further to the glitz and glamour of this red carpet look.
