Mariah Carey wore a dramatic black gown for this year’s AMAs that many fans were on the fence about, but we personally loved it! Her look featured the perfect amount of sultry sheer detailing without being overly revealing. We love the slight sparkle on the bodice and feathered skirt for extra glitz and glamour.

10. Shawn Mendes

Shawn Mendes looked quite sophisticated and dapper on the AMA red carpet this year. He dressed perfectly for the somewhat casual awards show by wearing a tuxedo suit paired with a printed, unbuttoned shirt. As always, his hair was perfectly undone and coiffed.

Halsey is quite edgy when it comes to her style and this pink and black dress she wore to the AMAs perfectly encapsulates that. The look featured a high-low hemline and cinched in at her waist which showed off her petite figure. We especially love the black strappy sandals she paired with it!

Bebe Rexha is typically quite the wild card when it comes to red carpet fashion, but we were pleasantly surprised by her choice of dress for the AMAs this year! Her look featured a little sparkle, unique silver detailing, edgy shoulder pads and a sultry thigh-high slit.

Ashlee Simpson stepped out at this year’s American Music Awards wearing a midnight blue sparkling dress that featured long sleeves, a choker neckline, and a belted waist. We love that Simpson opted for a super high topknot for the event, which is playful but still sophisticated and sleek.
